“Patrick is a scholar of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation - Young Minds Academy. On 16 May 2012, the scholars will undergo an immersion via an urban backpacking program called the Urban Development Awareness Walk. In case of an emergency or for further concerns to the activity and the scholars, please notify…”
9:00 AM. Nagsimula yung Urban Backpacking namin. First check point namin eh sa Cebu City Health Office. 01K yung sinakyan namin.
- Cebu City Health Office - I was assigned to ask about the services of the office. It is awkward kasi yung tabi niya eh motel at ironic dahil yung tapat ng motel eh school. Ugh! “It is the IT-BPO hub”, yun ang clue. Papasakayin kami ng 04C. It as Cebu I.T. Park. Puro “No Stopping Anytime” ang nakikita namin. Sumakay nalang kami.
- Cebu IT Park - Ibinaba kami ng jeep sa The Walk. So ayun, nilibot namin yung park. Pero feel na feel namin ang paglalakad sa ilalim ng high-rise buildings which houses the BPO companies. Maraming sosyal, sobra.
You can still consider it as a center of commerce dahil marami pa ring business establishments. Maraming mukhang snatcher, pulubi, sidewalk vendor, pokpok, etc. Awkward nga nung napadaan kami sa isang sinehan na puro sex films yung pinapalabas. OH EM! Natapos namin yung task at pinapunta kami sa church na pinakamalapit doon.
- Sto.
Breakfast, Lunch, at Dinner. That was really challenging!
Nagpahinga kami dun. Matapos naming makapagrecharge eh pinapunta kami sa CTU, sa deep well daw dun. Pagkarating namin eh binigay sa amin ang last task: I-tetrace namin ang Estero Parian sa modern-day world. Estero Parian by the way was the source of fresh water ng mga Cebuanos noong panahon ng Kastila. Ayun, na-trace naman namin not until we got into Gaisano Main.
Bakit kaya walang Starbucks sa “Oldest street in the Philippines”?

Now, I thank the Lord na nakapasok kami sa RAFI-EADSC YMA. After the long process of keen scrutiny, HAAAY!
Law of Attraction talaga, at prayers.
YMA Season 6, here we come.
